Refund policy
Returns mean something hasn't gone right while we are trying to deliver you the fun stuff, and while it's always avoided, in some cases it's enivitable - we are a bunch of humans after all (thankfully). If you think you require a return, please read the policy below then reach out to us at contact@reedhobbies.com.au so we can rectify the problem if possible.
Change of Mind
We have a 14-day return policy for change of mind returns, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return of a product in its original condition (unused, sealed, with tags, and in its original packaging), unless it's in the exception list below.
To start a return, you can contact us at contact@reedhobbies.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package (our warehouse is in Toowoomba, Queensland). Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and are sent at the senders risk. Once received and once we've confirmed the returned product has been returned in the original condition we will arrange a credit or refund. We will not accept responsibility for goods which are damaged whilst in transit back to us.
Please note that if the return is due to change of mind, return postage cost is at your cost and the original shipping cost will not be refunded. Change of mind returns on sale or clearance items are not available.
Wrong-Product
Please inspect your order upon recieving it and contact us within 7 days if you believe you received a different item to what was ordered, so that we can discuss the issue with you and get it right. We will require proof (e.g. photos and the original packaging the item was received in) and if accepted will provide a shipping label for return postage of the wrong item, and once received we'll get you the right item.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned because of change of mind, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Consumer Rights
None of the above terms limit your rights if a product doesn't meet your expectations per the ACCC guidelines of consumer rights. If you think this is the case then please get in touch with us ASAP at contact@reedhobbies.com.au
We will need proof that the goods were purchased from us and require the product returned to us for assessment before we can remedy. The returned product must be adequately packaged to prevent damage during return shipping. We will not accept responsibility for goods which are damaged whilst in transit back to us but otherwise will try and remedy as quick as possible.
