Shipping policy

Free Standard Shipping for $80+

Orders placed in Australia with a value of $80 inc. GST, after any product sales or discounts have been applied, are eligible for free standard domestic shipping. Does not include express shipping or postage options with additional insurance.

Shipping & Postage

Reed Hobbies strive to have items shipped by the following business day after order and payment confirmation is received. Shipping cost at checkout covers tracked domestic delivery in Australia via Australia Post or in rare cases we'll use Shopify Australia's shipping partner, Sendle. Express delivery via Australia Post is also available for most orders. Once your package has shipped you will be provided with the tracking number via email.

Insurance

Both Australia Post and Sendle have programs that cover loss or damages to packages up to the value of $100 AUD, included in the shipping cost. Cover for damages and loss of product above the value of $100 (to a maximum of $5,000) will incur additional cost and is selectable at checkout when available. Items sent are at the purchasers risk and Reed Hobbies and their staff do not accept liability for loss or damages during transit. Orders above the value of $500 will also require a signature on delivery.

Pre-Orders or Backorder Items

If an order contains any Pre-Order or Out of Stock items then the order will be held until everything in the order is available. If there are any unforeseen delays to these items then we will reach out to you with an update and see if you'd prefer to split the order.
